A Chinese company has come up with a clever plan that offers its employees financial benefits and prioritizes their physical well-being, by motivating them to run and exercise.

Guangdong Dongpo Paper employees can earn extra money based on the physical exercise they do throughout the month. This unique fitness incentive program has sparked controversy, with some praising its health benefits while others question its integrity.

According to the South China Morning Post, the new policy means that employees will receive a full monthly bonus if they run 50km in a month, 60% if they run 40km, and 30% if they run 30km. Meanwhile, those who run 100km a month will receive an additional 30%.
