Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the horrific events in Gaza cannot be justified in any way.

He added, "The United States is not satisfied with Russia's participation in a settlement in the Middle East and seeks to spread chaos," noting that "the American ruling elites and their followers are behind the conflict in the Middle East and Ukraine."

He also stressed that "the key to resolving the conflict in the Middle East is the establishment of a fully sovereign Palestinian state."
