Lebanese Health Ministry calls for reviewing emergency and evacuation plans in anticipation of security developments

The Lebanese Ministry of Health indicated in a statement that "due to the development of the security situation in occupied Palestine and southern Lebanon, and to ensure a good response and enhance coordination between all stakeholders in the health sector, the Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Firas Al-Abyad, issued a memorandum to all hospitals throughout Lebanese territory, in which he explained the steps taken by the Ministry of Public Health to date, and also reminded the hospitals of the measures that must be taken by them in the event of a development in the south."

The memorandum focused on "the Ministry of Public Health's commitment to cover Lebanese war wounded within a specific mechanism and new definitions set by the ministry, which will be announced after the meeting that will be held tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday, with the Syndicate of Private Hospitals."
