The Lebanese-Israeli border witnessed, on Saturday, a noticeable escalation in the military operations and mutual shelling between Hezbollah and the Israeli occupation army, which continued for the thirty-fifth day, after the border clashes erupted in conjunction with the outbreak of the war between Israel and Gaza on October 7.
This military escalation came amid a media war of statements that is also raging between the two parties, and mutual threats, which raised the level of existing fears locally and internationally of a scenario of the war with "Israel" extending to the Lebanese side, and the limited clashes geographically and militarily rolling into a comprehensive and costly confrontation on both sides.
