Syria out of classification, UAE and Saudi Arabia most prepared in the Arab world for artificial intelligence

The United Arab Emirates topped the Arab countries in the index of readiness of its government system for artificial intelligence in 2023, and ranked 18th globally, according to data from Oxford Insights.

Saudi Arabia ranked second in the Arab world and 29th in the world, followed by Qatar in third place in the Arab world and 34th in the world, while Syria remained outside the classification due to the lack of data.

It is noteworthy that the index measures the readiness of countries for artificial intelligence in 193 countries around the world.
